Elizabeth Gould, M.Ed., SUDP

Elizabeth is a seasoned behavioral health professional with extensive experience in health administration, co‑occurring disorder treatment, and substance use disorder services. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles across inpatient and outpatient settings, including positions such as Administrator, Director of Admissions, Clinical Coordinator, and Case Manager within Lakeside‑Milam Recovery Centers and other community mental health organizations. Her work has spanned program development, individualized treatment planning, crisis intervention, and coordination of care across multidisciplinary teams, reflecting more than a decade of commitment to supporting individuals on their recovery journeys.

Elizabeth’s passion is rooted deeply in her belief that recovery is possible for everyone. Having faced personal challenges and loss, she understands firsthand the transformative power of resilience, support, and accessible care. These experiences fuel her dedication to creating a more compassionate, equitable behavioral health system—one where individuals are empowered to take ownership of their healing and where change is both achievable and sustainable. She is especially passionate about working with individuals experiencing co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders, including those navigating the complexities of personality disorders.

Outside of her professional life, Elizabeth values connection, balance, and joy. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son, traveling to new places, getting lost in compelling books, exploring suspense films, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. These moments of creativity and rest help her stay grounded and energized as she continues supporting individuals, families, and communities in building healthier futures.
